As a graduate of Baghdad University, Dr. Mohammed earned his Bachelor of Dentistry Degree in 1991. His passion for education led him to immigrate to Canada because he was drawn to its multiculturalism, inclusivity, immigrants and diversity. As one of the most educated countries in the world, citizens of Canada enjoy universal health care and security. More so, it is beautiful beyond measure with picturesque views of nature.

What is Dr. Mohammed’s favourite aspect of being an Oakville dentist? In his words, “There’s nothing better than changing the life of a patient who, after completing a treatment plan, is no longer embarrassed or ashamed of his or her smile.”  He identifies excellent healthcare as an integral part of a high-standard lifestyle and human experience as these are key contributing factors in helping every person achieve prosperity and productivity. His decision to choose dentistry has enabled him to not just take care of others but to also lift their confidence levels and allow them to enjoy the quality of life they deserve.

Dr. Mohammed is married to Dr. Falak with whom he shares all successes. She is his partner not only in life but also in dentistry. As an avid sports fan, Dr. Mohammed enjoys looking at football and other sports. He enjoys biking and has a keen interest in golf. Dr. Mohammed actively supports activities in the community, groups, and sports teams.

Having studied at Baghdad University, Dr. Falak graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Dentistry in 1997. She had the opportunity to practise as a surgeon in the Head and Neck Surgery Department in one of the busiest hospitals in Baghdad, saving patients’ lives and steadfastly followed her passion. She also availed herself of an opportunity to provide general dentistry in her private clinic.

Determined to be the best she could be and deliver the best quality of care to her patients, in 2012 Dr. Falak immigrated to Canada. Although the transition was not an easy one, with the support of her children and husband Dr. Mohammed, she was successful at the National Dental Board Exam and started practising soon after. With a deep appreciation and awareness of the finer aspects of dentistry, Dr. Falak finds it exceptionally rewarding to have a positive impact on her patients educating them, empowering them and improving their lives through excellent oral health.

Dr. Falak leads an incredibly busy life. Committed to her career and to her family, she invests time enjoying her hobbies and giving back to the community.
